Nat’l Quran Memorization Contest Planned in France

The 12th edition of France’s national Quran memorization contest will be held from April 18 to 21 in Paris.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nat’l Quran Memorization Contest Planned in France

 According to uoif-online website, this edition of the competition is organized by the Union of Islamic Organizations of France in cooperation with the European Institute for Humanities and the Holy Quran Organization of Europe.

It will be held on the occasion of the 31th anniversary of Muslims gathering in France.

The union has issued a call inviting those willing to attend the national competition.

It said the participants should be under 30 years of age and should send the competition’s registration form to the secretariat of the union by February 28.

Those who manage to score 70 out of the total 100 in the preliminary stage of the competition will qualify to compete in the final stage.

Top participants of the previous editions of the event are not allowed to register this year, except those who are willing to compete at a higher level.

Memorization of the entire Quran, and 15, 10, 5 and 2 Juzes (parts) will be the categories of the 12th edition of the competition.

It will be held for two groups of participants, children under 10 and adults aged 18 to 30.
