The workshops will be held on Quranic and religious themes for the public, Fars news agency reported.
This edition of the competition is slated to be held from May 26 to June 2 in the Iranian capital of Tehran.
Representatives of more than 60 countries will take part in the international Quran event.
Behzad Hozhabri and Jafar Fardi will respectively represent Iran in the memorization and recitation categories of the competition.
The Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, the organizer of the contest, has set up 12 special committees including Quranic research, public relations, and cultural, to best hold the international event.
