MASHHAD (IQNA) - A copy of the Holy Quran attributed to Imam Musa Kazem (AS) has been put on display at the Central Library of Astan-e Quds Razavi in Mashhad.

The Quranic manuscript has been showcased along with a number of other works including lithographed and printed books about the seventh Shia infallible Imam (AS) at an exhibition held at the library.

A note of devotion hand-written by Sheikh Bahayi accompanies the Quran copy written in Kufic script on deer skin.

“Ziyarat” “Al-Mazahirah” “Minhaj Al-Sadeqeen”, “MadinahAl-Ma’ajiz”, “Sharh Arba’een” and “Rawzah Shuhada” are some of the manuscript books displayed at the exhibition.

The lithographed works on display include “Fourty Hadiths”, “Yad-e Bayza”, “Badaye’ al-Anwar” and “Nasikh Al-Tawarikh”.

The establishment of more than 50 public and specialized libraries by the Organization of Libraries, Museums and the Documents Center of Astan-e Quds Razavi signifies the importance that the organization attaches to the promotion of book-reading culture in the society.

With over 23,000,000 valuable sources, the organization is considered as one of the most important scientific references in the Muslim world.

The exhibition has been held from November 29 and continues until December 6.
