An educational workshop on “correct recitation of the Holy Quran” started today, March 7, in Cairo, Egypt.

According to Al-Youm Al-Sabi’ News Agency, Hasubuyah Group has organized the two-week specialized Quranic program.

‘Umar Al-Jundi, a member of the group, said that the workshop aims to get the Quran reciters of the country more acquainted with Nahw (syntax) principles and develop their recitation skills.

He added that the Qaris participating in the workshop will master rules of Waqf and Ibtida, the reasons of various Quran recitation styles and the secrets of diversity in Quranic phonetic aspects.

Al-Jundi noted that Mustafa Amin, expert in Arabic syntax and morphology who was educated at Dar Al-Uloom University in Cairo, teaches the workshop.
