23rd Int’l Quran Exhibition to Conclude Tuesday

The 23rd edition of Tehran International Quran Exhibition will conclude on Tuesday.

Barzin Zarqami, secretary of the expo, told the IRIB News that the exhibition will wrap up its activities after 20 days on July 14, which falls on the 27th day of the holy month of Ramadan.

He added that several programs are scheduled to be held during the final days of the exhibition.

The 23rd Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition was inaugurated at the Sacred Defense Garden Museum in the Iranian capital city in late June.

The exhibition is annually mounted by the ministry of culture and Islamic guidance during the blessed month of Ramadan with the aim of stimulating development and promotion in concepts of the Noble Quran.

Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic Hijri calendar. During this holy month, Muslims all over the world fast (abstain from foods and drinks) from sunrise to sunset.

They also devote a considerable amount of time during this month to reading and contemplating the Quran.
