“Quran Interpretation via Hadiths of Ahl al-Bayt (AS)” in Karbala

A scholarly project on “Quran interpretation via Hadiths of Ahl al-Bayt (AS)” began by the Quran Institute affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) in the holy city of Karbala.

According to Al-Kafil website, Sheikh Ziya’uddin Hamid Al-Zubaidi, director of the Center for Quran Printing, Interpretation and Sciences Institute of the Astan, said that the project is part of the Quranic activities of the institute.

Speaking at the ceremony where the first copy of the Holy Quran printed by the Astan was unveiled, he said that the copy, calligraphed in Naskh script, was published by the Dar Al-Kafeel Publication Center affiliated to the Astan.

He added that new technologies have been used in printing the Quran copy and Hamid Al-Sa’di, Iraqi calligrapher, has included its diacritics.

It has been published according to Hafs an ‘Asim narration which is one of the famous styles in Iraq.

The ceremony was organized by the Quran Printing, Interpretation and Sciences of the Astan.

Other features of the Quran copy will be introduced in a press conference later. 55
