Croatian Translation of Sahifeh Sajjadiyeh Unveiled at Zagreb Int’l Book Fair

A translation of the book Sahifeh Sajjadiyeh was unveiled on the sidelines of the Zagreb International Book Fair.

According to zagreb.icro.ir, Livia Kardum, a University of Zagreb scholar who edited the work, and Saade Kanso, the translator, addressed the unveiling ceremony.

Addressing the event, Kardum described Sahifeh Sajjadiyeh as a book abounding in knowledge and teachings for all human beings.

She said the teachings of the book are not limited by time and space and can benefit everyone.

Kanso also addressed the ceremony, saying that the book is a precious collection of Islamic knowledge.

He added that Shia Muslims are proud of this valuable treasure.

Sahifeh Sajjadiyeh is a collection of prayers attributed to Imam Sajjad (AS), the fourth Imam of the Shia.

1000 copies of the Croatian translation of the book have recently been published by Iran’s Cultural Center in Sarajevo in collaboration with the Sadra Islamic Philosophy Research Institute.
