The 17th edition of the Nahj al-Balagha International Congress has been postponed.

HojjatulIslam Dinparvar, executive secretary of the conference said the scholarly event that was slated to be held on Eid al-Ghadir (September 20) this year, had been rescheduled to April 10, 2017.

He said it will give the opportunity to those interested to submit their works to the secretariat of the congress.

According to the cleric, the secretariat has so far received some 250 papers.

He said social justice, economic justice, Islamic management and role of managers based on the teachings of Imam Ali (AS) are some of the themes of the congress.

Nahj al-Balagha is a collection of sermons, letters, and sayings of Imam Ali (AS) dealing with a wide variety of topics including our existence, relationship with the Almighty, building a God-fearing personality, and the Imam’s (AS) reflections upon historical incidents.
