​Generosity

The generous person is close to Allah, close to people and close to Paradise.

رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله :  السَّخاءُ خُلُقُ اللَّهِ الأعظَمُ . كنز العمّال : 15926 .

 The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'Allah has made generosity the greatest moral virtue.' Kanz al-Ummal, no. 15926

رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله :  ما جَبَلَ اللَّهُ ولِيّاً لَهُ إلّا عَلى السَّخاءِ . كنز العمّال : 16204 .

 The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'Allah has created every single vicegerent of His with generosity as their natural disposition.' Kanz al-Ummal, no. 16204

رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله :  تَجافَوا عن ذَنبِ السَّخِيِّ فإنَّ اللَّهَ آخِذٌ بيدِهِ كُلَّما عَثَرَ . كنز العمّال : 16212 .

 The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'Relinquish the generous person's sin for verily Allah takes him by the hand every time he slips.' Kanz al-Ummal, no. 16212

رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله :  السَّخِيُّ قَريبٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ ، قريبٌ مِن الناسِ ، قَريبٌ مِن الجَنَّةِ . بحار الأنوار : 73 / 308 / 37 .

 The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'The generous person is close to Allah, close to people and close to Paradise.' Bihar al-Anwar, v. 73, p. 308, no. 37

رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله :  أسخَى الناسِ مَن أدّى‏ زَكاةَ مالِهِ . بحار الأنوار : 77 / 112 / 2 .

 The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'The most generous of people is he who fulfils payment of the alms-tax due upon him.' Bihar al-Anwar, v. 77, p. 112, no. 2
