A Quranic calligraphy exhibition has been mounted at Tehran’s Milad Tower on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

The expo was launched in a ceremony on Sunday night, June 21, IRNA reported.

It showcases 120 exquisite calligraphy and calligraphy-painting works by prominent Iranian artists like Abolfazl Khazaei, Mohammad Saeed Naghashan, and Meisam Soltani.

The artworks feature verses of the Holy Quran and Hadiths narrated from the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and the Infallible Imams (AS).

The exhibition welcomes visitors everyday during the holy month from 6 P.M. to 2 A.M.

Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic Hijri calendar. This year, it began on Thursday, June 18.

During Ramadan, Muslims all over the world fast (abstain from foods and drinks) from sunrise to sunset.

Every year, various Quranic programs are organized all over Iran during Ramadan, the month of Quran.
