The first edition of Hazrat Zeynab (SA) International Festival will be organized by the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein’s (AS) holy shrine in Karbala.
According to the website of the Astan, the international program will be held from November 8 to 11.
“Hazrat Zeynab (SA), Role-Model of Patience” is the motto of the festival.
A competition on the best written works about the Seerah of Hazrat Zeynab (SA) will be held as a part of the festival’s programs.
Those willing to participate in the international competition should email their books and papers to mahrajan.zainab@yahoo.com.
September 13 is the deadline for the submission of the works for the festival.
The three top participants will be respectively awarded eight million, six million and 4 million Iraqi Dinars.
