1853 - آدابُ المَوعِظَةِ
1853. ETIQUETTES OF EXHORTATION
(اُدْعُ إِلَى سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الحَسَنَةِ وَجَادِلْهُمْ بِالّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ ضَلَّ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ).1
"Invite to the way of Your Lord with wisdom and good advice and dispute with them in a manner that is best. Indeed your Lord knows best those who stray from His way, and He knows best those who are guided." 2
6599.جابر بن سَمُرَة : كانَ رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله لا يُطيلُ المَوعِظَةَ يَومَ الجُمُعَةِ ، إنّما هُنَّ كَلِماتٌ يَسيراتٌ .3
6599. Jabir b. Samura said, 'The Prophet (SAWA) never prolonged the exhortation on Friday, but rather used simple phrases.' 4
6600.الإمامُ عليٌّ عليه السلام: نُصحُكَ بَينَ المَلَأِ تَقْريعٌ .5
6600.Imam Ali (AS) said, 'Your advice to a congregation of people is like chiding.' 6
6601.الإمامُ العسكريُّ عليه السلام : مَن وَعَظَ أخاهُ سِرّاً فَقَد زانَهُ ، ومَن وَعَظَهُ عَلانِيَةً فَقَد شانَهُ .7
6601.Imam al-Askari (AS) said, 'He who exhorts his brother in secret has indeed adorned him, and he who exhorts him in public has dishonoured him.' 8
