1593 - الحَثُّ عَلى‏ إكرامِ الكَريمِ‏

1593. ENCOURAGING KINDNESS TOWARDS

5501.رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : أكرِمُوا كريمَ كُلِّ قَومٍ .¹

5501.The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'Honour the generous of every race of people.' ²

1592 - ما لَيسَ مِن أخلاقِ الكِرامِ‏

1592. WHAT IS NOT REGARDED AS THE VIRTUES

5497.الإمامُ عليٌّ عليه السلام : الكِذبُ والخِيانَةُ لَيسا مِن أخلاقِ الكِرامِ .¹

5497.Imam Ali (AS) said, 'lying and betrayal are not among the characteristics of the gernerous people.' ²

5498.الإمامُ عليٌّ عليه السلام : ليسَ مِن شِيَمِ الكِرامِ تَعجيلُ الانتِقامِ .³

5498.Imam Ali (AS) said, 'It is not among the characteristics of generous people to hasten in taking revenge.' ⁴

5499.الإمامُ عليٌّ عليه السلام : مَن لم يُجازِ الإساءَةَ بالإحسانِ فليسَ مِن الكِرامِ .⁵

5499.Imam Ali (AS) said, 'He who does not repay bad with good is not of the noble.' ⁶

5500.الإمامُ الحسنُ عليه السلام : مَن عَدَّدَ نِعَمَهُ مَحَقَ كَرَمَهُ .⁷

5500. Imam Hasan (AS) said, 'He who counts his favours [to others] destroys his own generosity.' ⁸
