440 - مَن يُخَلَّدُ فِي السِّجنِ
440. The One Imprisoned for Life
1361.الإمامُ الباقرُ عليه السلام - في رجُلٍ أمَرَ رجُلاً بقَتلِرجُلٍ فقَتلَهُ - : يُقْتَلُ بهِ الّذي قَتَلَهُ ، ويُحْبَسُ الآمِرُ بقَتْلِهِ في السِّجْنِ حتّى يَموتَ .1
1361.Imam al-Baqir (AS) said, about a man who had ordered another man to kill someone, which he had done - 'He who killed him must be killed, and he who ordered the killing must be imprisoned until he dies.' 2
1362.الإمامُ الصّادق عليه السلام: قَضى عَلِيٌّ عليه السلام في رَجُلَينِ أمسَكَ أحَدُهُما وقَتَلَ الآخَرُ فَقالَ : يُقتَلُ القاتِلُ ويُحبَسُالآخَرُ حَتّى يَموتَ غَمّاً كَما حَبَسَهُ عَلَيهِ حَتّى ماتَ غَمّاً3 .
1362.Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said, 'Imam Ali (AS) passed on a judgment between two people, jailing one and killing the other, and he (AS) said, 'The killer is to be killed and the other is to be jailed until he dies with dismay the same way he jailed the prisoner and made him die in dismay.' 4
