The review meeting of the book ‘An Introduction to Comparative Linguistics of the Quran and the Torah will be held at Iran’s Book House Institute on Wednesday.
According to IBNA correspondent quoting from the public relations department of Iran’s Book House Institute (IBHI), the Persian book ‘An Introduction to Comparative Linguistics of the Qur'an and the Torah’ by Haidar Aivazi will be reviewed at the House of the Literati affiliated to IBHI with the author as well as experts Azartash Azarnoush, Fatemeh Tofiqi, and Morteza Kariminia in attendance.
What is stressed in this book is that in writing the Hebrew Torah, beginning from early ages to the end of the twentieth century, we witness a continuous style of thinking.
The perfect example of this method of thinking can be observed in the various editions of the Book of Xenious, in which the subsequent generations continued to reflect the evolution of linguistic discourse and the findings of archaeologists until one century after its reestablishment.
The second part of the book also involves discussions on etymology of about 30 common words in the Qur'an and the Torah, which comprise a series of Quranic verses and some theological concepts shared between the Qur'an and the Torah.
The book is released by the Academy of Ahl al-Bayt (AS), in 192 pages.
Interested individuals can attend this meeting at Iran’s Book House Institute at No. 2, Khajeh Nasir Alley, South Baradaran Mozaffar St., Enghelab Ave.
