An exhibition of Quranic products, activities and achievements was launched on the sidelines of Iran’s 32nd International Quran Competition.

There are 35 pavilions at the exhibition featuring Quranic products, workshops, Hijab, religious questions, and religious consultations.

In one of the pavilions, titled “I Am Yemeni”, visitors learn about the latest situation in war-hit Yemen.

The 32nd edition of Iran’s International Quran Competition kicked off here in Tehran on Friday, May 15, in a ceremony attended by high-ranking officials, including Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

Some 120 Quran reciters and memorizers from 75 countries will compete in the two categories of the contest for seven days.

As for Yemen, the country’s defenseless people have been under attacks by a coalition led by Riyadh.

On March 26, the Saudi-led coalition began to launch deadly air strikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to the fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

Some seven weeks of deadly aerial attacks on Yemen have killed over 3,500 people and left some 6,200 others injured.

Meanwhile, a five-day truce took effect on Tuesday to allow delivery of humanitarian aid for Yemenis.
