Holy Quran Exhibition Planned at Sycamore Library in Illinois

The Chicago Northwest Muslim Youth Association plans to host a Holy Quran exhibition on Saturday, July 16.

It will be mounted at the Sycamore Public Library, 103 E. State St. in Sycamore, Illinois.

The purpose of this exhibition is to provide local residents with an introduction to Islam and identify commonalities between Islam and the other major religions of the world.

The goal is to help educate and dispel common myths and misunderstandings about Islam.

Those who attend can ask any questions they may have about Muslims and Islam, including but not limited to: What is Islam? What is the Holy Quran? What is the status of women and their rights in Islam? What are the prophecies of the Holy Quran?

These exhibitions are part of a 2016 national effort taking place in more than 60 towns across the United States.
