رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : أبْشِري يا فاطمةُ ، فإنّ المهديَّ منكِ . كنز العمّال : 34208 .
The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'Glad tidings to you O Fatima for verily the Mahdi will be from you [i.e. your descent].' Kanz al-Ummal, no. 34208
رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : لا تَقومُ السّاعةُ حتّى تَمْتَلئَ الأرضُ ظُلماً وعُدْواناً ، ثُمّ يخرُجُ رجُلٌ مِن عِترتي فيَملَؤُها قِسْطاً وعَدلاً كما مُلِئتْ ظُلماً وعُدْواناً . كنز العمّال : 38691 .
The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'The [Final] Hour will not come until the land has been filled with tyranny and enmity, then a man from my progeny will emerge and will fill it with fairness and justice just as it had been filled with tyranny and enmity.' Kanz al-Ummal, no. 38691
رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : المهديُّ رجُلٌ مِن وُلْدي ، وجهُهُ كالكَوكبِ الدُّرّيِّ . كنز العمّال : 38666 .
The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'The Mahdi will be a man from my offspring, and his face will be like a sparkling star.' Kanz al-Ummal, no. 38666
رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : يَليرجُلٌ مِن أهلِبيتي يُواطِئُ اسمُه اسمِي، لَو لَم يَبْقَ مِن الدُّنيا إلّا يَومٌ لَطوَّلَ اللَّهُ ذلكَ اليومَ حتّى يَليَ . كنز العمّال : 38661 .
The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'A man from my household will rule, his name will be the same as mine. Even if not more than a day remains of this world, Allah will lengthen that day so that he may rule.' Kanz al-Ummal, no. 38661
رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : والّذي بَعثَني بالحقِّ بشيراً ، إنّ الثّابِتِينَ على القَولِ بهِ في زمانِ غَيبتِه لَأعزُّ مِنَ الكِبريتِ الأحْمَرِ . كمال الدين : 288 / 7 .
The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'By Him who has sent me down as the bearer of good news, certainly those who are steadfast in their belief in him during his occultation are dearer than red sulphur [elixir].' Kamal al-Din, v. 1, p. 288, no. 7
رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : أفضلُ أعمالِ اُمّتي انتظارُ فَرَجِ اللَّهِ عزّ وجلّ . بحار الأنوار : 52 / 122 / 2 .
The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'The best of the deeds of my community is [actively] anticipating relief from Allah, Mighty and Exalted.' Bihar al-Anwar,. v. 52, p. 122, no. 2
رسولُ اللَّهِ صلى اللَّه عليه وآله : يَخرُجُ في آخرِ اُمّتي المَهديُّ ، يَسْقيهِ اللَّهُ الغَيْثَ، وتُخرِجُ الأرضُ نَباتَها ، ويُعطَى المالُ صِحاحاً ، وتَكْثُرُ الماشِيَةُ ، وتَعْظُمُ الاُمّةُ . كنز العمّال : 38700 .
The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'Al-Mahdi will reappear among the last ones of my community. Allah will quench him with rain, the land will bring forth its vegetation, wealth will be given in full, livestock will increase and the community will augment.' Kanz al-Ummal, no. 38700
