108. رسول اللّه صلى الله عليه و آله :
108. The Prophet (SA) said:
عَلِيٌّ مَعَ القُرآنِ وَالقُرآنُ مَعَهُ ،
“Ali is with the Qur’an and the Qur’an is with him.
لا يَفتَرِقانِ حَتّى يَرِدا عَلَيَّ الحَوضَ .
They will not separate until they join me at the Pond.”

109. الإمام عليّ عليه السلام :
109. Imam Ali (AS) said:
إنَّ اللّهَ تَبارَكَ وتَعالى طَهَّرَنا وعَصَمَنا ،
“Allah, the Exalted the Almighty, purified us and made us immune.
وجَعَلَنا شُهَداءَ عَلى خَلقِهِ ،
He appointed us as witnesses against His creation
وحُجَّتَهُ في أرضِهِ ،
and His proof on His earth.
وجَعَلَنا مَعَ القُرآنِ
He appointed us with the Qur’an
وجَعَلَ القُرآنَ مَعَنا ،
and appointed the Qur’an with us.
لا نُفارِقُهُ
We will not be separated from it,
ولا يُفارِقُنا .
nor will it be separated from us.”

110. رسول اللّه صلى الله عليه و آله:
110. The Prophet (SA) said:
عَلِيٌّ مَعَ الحَقِّ وَالحَقُّ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ ،
“Ali is with the truth and the truth is with Ali:
يَدورُ مَعَهُ حَيثُما دارَ .
it turns with him whichever way he turns.”

111. عنه صلى الله عليه و آله :
111. The Prophet (SA) said:
يَا بنَ عَبّاسٍ ،
“O Ibn `Abbas,
سوفَ يَأخُذُ النّاسُ يَمينا وشِمالاً ،
the people will soon go left and right;
فَإِذا كانَ كَذلِكَ فَاتَّبِع عَلِيّا وحِزبَهُ ؛
when this happens, you should follow Ali and his group,
فَإِنَّهُ مَعَ الحَقِّ وَالحَقُّ مَعَهُ ،
for he is with the truth and the truth is with him,
ولا يَفتَرِقانِ حَتّى يَرِدا عَلَيَّ الحَوضَ .
and they will not be separated from each other until they join me at the Pond.”

112. رسول اللّه صلى الله عليه و آله :
112. The Prophet (SA) said:
يا عَلِيُّ ،
“O Ali,
أنتَ الَّذي تُبَيِّنُ لِاُمَّتي
you are the one who will clarify for my ummah
ما يَختَلِفونَ فيهِ بَعدي ،
that which they differ on after me.
وتَقومُ فيهِم مَقامي ،
You will take my place among them.
قَولُكَ قَولي ،
Your word is my word,
وأمرُكَ أمري ،
your command is my command,
وطاعَتُكَ طاعَتي ؛
obedience to you is obedience to me
وطاعَتي طاعَةُ اللّهِ ،
and obedience to me is obedience to Allah,
ومَعصِيَتُكَ مَعصِيَتي ؛
and disobedience to you is disobedience to me,
ومَعصِيَتي مَعصِيَةُ اللّهِ عزّوجلّ .
and disobedience to me is disobedience to Allah, may He be Glorified and Exalted.”

113. عنه صلى الله عليه و آله :
113. The Prophet (SA) said:
إذَا اختَلَفتُم في شَيءٍ
“If you differ on something,
فَكونوا مَعَ عَلِيِّ بنِ أبي طالِبٍ .
then be with Ali ibn Abi Talib.”
