Majlisi,s Method of Hadith Scholarship

Allama Mohamad Taqi Majlisi in his book Rawdat al – Muttaqin – a commentary on Shaykh Saduq,s book Man La Yadaruh al – Faqih – utilized some rules of hadith scholarship which are the main concern of the present article.
This paper deals with Majlisi,s methods, efforts, and follow – ups in interpreting the words with the purpose of having a better understanding of hadith. The author also points to application of Fiqh,s principles and rules and utilizing Ayahs and Hadiths as a characteristic of the abovementioned book.

Methods and Sources of Hadith Scholarship in Amali of Sayyid Murtada

This article is concerned with al – Amali one of the significant works of Sayyid Murtada (the great theologist, jurisprudent, and traditionist of the fifth century AH) in which Sayyid Murtada interpret allegorical and ambiguous verses and hadiths.
Sayyid Mutada has utilized different methods of hadith scholarship.
He uses literature and grammar as well as rational and theological approach to hadith as literary – theological approach.
