Conceptology of Congruency and Incongruency of Hadith with the Qur’an

One of the criteria for criticism of hadith text is its congruency or incongruency with the holy Qur’an. This criterion which has been obtained from the instructions of the holy Prophet and Infallible Imams, is known as akhbar arad. These hadiths state that if a hadith is congruent with the Quran, then accept it and if not, reject it. These hadiths express their degree of congruency in two ways: explicitly and implicitly. To define the degree of congruency of hadith with the Quran different views have been presented by usulis. The author of this paper first comes up with related hadiths, then views them from different perspectives in search of an acceptable theory in this regard.
