`Abdullah ibn `Abbās
126. Imām Ali (a.s.) –from a letter he wrote to `Abdullah ibn`Abbās, his administrator in Basra: “O Abu al-`Abbās, may God have mercy on you, restrain yourself in whatever you say or do, good or bad, as we are both partners in this (responsibility). Keep a good reputation with me and do not ruin my view about yourself. Wassalām!”1
