وَقَالَ (عليه السلام):
Amir al-mu'minin, peace be upon him, said:
نَحْنُ النُّمْرُقَةُ الْوُسْطَى
We (the members of the Prophet's family) are like the pillow in the middle.
بِهَا يَلْحَقُ التَّالِى
He who lags behind has to come forward to meet it
وَ إِلَيْهَا يَرْجِعُ الْغَالِى .
while he who has exceeded the bounds has to return to it.
