وَقَالَ (عليه السلام):
Amir al-mu'minin, peace be upon him, said:
لَا يَكُونُ الصَّدِيقُ صَدِيقاً
A friend is not a friend
حَتَّى يَحْفَظَ أَخَاهُ فِى ثَلَاثٍ
unless he affords protection to his comrade on three occasions:
فِى نَكْبَتِهِ
in his adversity,
وَ غَيْبَتِهِ
in his absence
وَ وَفَاتِهِ .
and at his death.
