وقال عليه السلام وقد سئل عن الاِيمان:
Amir al-mu'minin, peace be upon him, was asked about belief (iman) when he said:
الاْيمَانُ مَعْرِفَةٌ بِالْقَلْبِ،
Belief means appreciation with the heart,
وَإِقْرَارٌ بِاللِّسَانِ،
acknowledgement with the tongue,
وعَمَلٌ بِالاْرْكَانِ.
and action with the limbs.
