870. رسول اللّه صلى الله عليه و آله:

870. The Prophet (SA) said:

 مَن أحَبَّ عَلِيّا فَقَدِ اهتَدى ،

“Whoever loves Ali has indeed been guided

ومَن أبغَضَهُ فَقَدِ اعتَدى .

and whoever hates him has indeed transgressed.”

871. عنه صلى الله عليه و آلهـ لِعَلِيٍّ عليه السلام ـ:

871. The Prophet (SA) said to Ali (AS):

ألا مَن أحَبَّكَ حَفَّ بِالأَمنِ وَالإيمانِ ،

“Whoever loves you will be encircled with security and faith and whoever hates you,

ومَن أبغَضَكَ أماتَهُ اللّهُ ميتَةَ الجاهِلِيَّةِ ،

God will cause him to die the death [of the Age] of Ignorance,

وحوسِبَ بِعَمَلِهِ فِي الإِسلامِ .

even though he will be accountable for his actions in Islam.”

872. عنه صلى الله عليه و آله :

872. The Prophet (SA) said:

مَن أحَبَّ عَلِيّا قَبِلَ اللّهُ مِنهُ صَلاتَهُ وصِيامَهُ وقِيامَهُ ،

“Whoever loves Ali, God will accept his prayer, fast and vigil

وَاستَجابَ دُعاءَهُ .

and will answer his supplications.”

873. عنه صلى الله عليه و آله :

873. The Prophet (SA) said:

يا عَلِيُّ ، وَاللّهِ لَو أنَّ رَجُلاً صَلّى وصامَ حَتّى يَصيرَ كَالشِّنِّ البالي ،

“O Ali, by God, if a person prays and fasts such that he becomes a tattered [water] skin,

إذا ما نَفَعَ صَلاتُهُ وصَومُهُ إلّا بِحُبِّكُم .

his prayers and fasts will be of no avail except with your love.”

874. عنه صلى الله عليه و آله:

874. The Prophet (SA) said:

 حُبُّ عَلِيِّ بنِ أبي طالِبٍ يَأكُلُ السَّيِّئاتِ كَما تَأكُلُ النّارُ الحَطَبَ .

 “Love of Ali ibn Abi Talib consumes misdeeds just as fire consumes firewood.”

875. عنه صلى الله عليه و آلهـ لِعَلِيٍّ عليه السلام ـ:

875. The Prophet (SA) said to Ali (AS):

حَسبُكَ ، ما لِمُحِبِّكَ حَسرَةٌ عِندَ مَوتِهِ ،

“Sufficient for you is that there is no grief for him who loves you upon his death,

ولا وَحشَةٌ في قَبرِهِ ،

nor loneliness in his grave‚

ولا فَزَعٌ يَومَ القِيامَةِ .

nor fear on the Day of Judgement.”

876. الإمام الصادق عليه السلام :

876. Imam al-Sadiq (AS) said:

وَاللّهِ لا يَهلِكُ هالِكٌ عَلى حُبِّ عَلِيٍّ عليه السلام

“By God, no one dies on love for Ali (AS),

إلّا رَآهُ في أحَبِّ المَواطِنِ إلَيهِ ،

except that he sees him in the dearest of spots to him.

وَاللّهِ لا يَهلِكُ هالِكٌ عَلى بُغضِ عَلِيٍّ عليه السلام

By God, no one dies on hatred for Ali (AS),

إلّا رَآهُ في أبغَضِ المَواطِنِ إلَيهِ .

except that he sees him in the most detested of spots to him.”

877. رسول اللّه صلى الله عليه و آله:

877. The Prophet (SA) said:

 لِكُلِّ شَيءٍ جَوازٌ ،

“For everything is a license,

وجَوازٌ الصِّراطِ حُبُّ عَلِيِّ بنِ أبي طالِبٍ .

and the license of the Path (across hell) is love of Ali ibn Abi Talib.”

878. The Prophet (SA) said:

حُبُّ عَلِيٍّ بَراءَةٌ مِنَ النّارِ .

 “Love of Ali is freedom from the fire.”

879. The Prophet (SA) said:

إنَّ الجَنَّةَ لَتَشتاقُ لِأَحِبّاءِ عَلِيٍّ عليه السلام ،

“ Indeed, Paradise longs for the friends of Ali (AS)

ويَشتَدُّ ضَوؤُها لِأَحِبّاءِ عَلِيٍّ عليه السلام

and its lights brighten for the friends of ‘Ali

وهُم فِي الدُّنيا قَبلَ أن يَدخُلوها .

while they are still in this world and have not entered it (yet).”

880. الإمام عليّ عليه السلام:

880. Imam Ali (AS) said:

 إنَّ رَسولَ اللّهِ صلى الله عليه و آله أخَذَ بِيَدِ حَسَنٍ وحُسَينٍ فَقالَ :

“The Prophet (SA) took the hands of Hasan and Husain and said:

مَن أحَبَّني وأحَبَّ هذَيِن وأباهُما واُمَّهُما

Whoever loves me and loves these, and loves their father and their mother‚

كانَ مَعي في دَرَجَتي يَومَ القِيامَةِ .

will be with me in my degree on the Day of Judgement.”
