905. رسول اللّه صلى الله عليه و آله :
905. The Prophet (SA) said:
مَن أحَبَّ عَلِيّا مَحياهُ ومَماتَه ،
“Whoever loves Ali alive and dead, [That is during his lifetime and after his death (Editor).]
كَتَبَ اللّهُ تَعالى لَهُ الأَمنَ وَالإيمانَ ما طَلَعَتِ الشَّمسُ وما غَرَبَت ؛
God will write for him security and faith as long as the sun rises and sets.
ومَن أبغَضَ عَلِيّا مَحياهُ ومَماتَه ،
Whoever hates Ali, alive or dead,
فَميتَتُهُ جاهِلِيَّةٌ ،
he will die the death of [the Age of] Ignorance,
وحوسِبَ بِما أحدَثَ فِي الإِسلامِ .
even though he will be accountable for his actions in Islam.”

906. عنه صلى الله عليه و آله :
906. The Prophet (SA) said:
إنَّ النّارَ لَتَغيظُ ويَشتَدُّ زَفيرُها عَلى أعداءِ عَلِيٍّ عليه السلام
“Indeed, the fire flares up and its roaring intensifies towards the enemies of Ali (AS)
وهُم فِي الدُّنيا قَبلَ أن يَدخُلوها .
while they are in this world, before they enter it.”

907. الإمام عليّ عليه السلام :
907. Imam Ali (AS) said:
يَهلِكُ فِيَّ ثَلاثَةٌ ،
“Three (persons) perish because of me
ويَنجو فِيَّ ثَلاثَةٌ ؛
and three are delivered saved.
يَهلِكُ اللاعِنُ ،
The curser,
وَالمُستَمِعُ المُقِرُّ ،
the attesting listener,
وَالحامِلُ لِلوِزرِ
the bearer of sin;
وهُوَ المَلِكُ المُترَفُ يُتَقَرَّبُ إلَيهِ بِلَعني ،
that is the opulent king to whom men seek proximity through cursing me,
ويُبرَأُ عِندَهُ مِن ديني ،
with whom men are quit of my religion,
ويُنتَقَصُ عِندَهُ حَسَبي ؛
and with whom my lineage is degraded, will perish.
وإنَّما حَسَبي حَسَبُ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه و آله ،
Indeed, my lineage is the lineage of the Prophet (SA)
وديني دينُهُ .
and my religion is his religion.
ويَنجو فِيَّ ثَلاثَةٌ :
However three will be delivered because of me:
المُحِبُّ المُوالي ،
the befriending lover,
وَالمُعادي مَن عاداني ،
the enemy of my enemy
وَالمُحِبُّ مَن أحَبَّني .
and the lover of my lover.
فَإِذا أحَبَّني عَبدٌ أحَبَّ مُحُبّي ،
Every servant who loves me has thereby loved my lover,
وأبغَضَ مُبغِضي ، وشايَعَني .
hated my hater and followed me.
فَليَمتَحِنِ الرَّجُلُ قَلبَهُ ؛
Let a person test his heart.
إنَّ اللّهَ لَم يَجعَل لِرَجُلٍ مِن قَلبَينِ في جَوفِهِ
Indeed, God has not put two hearts within any man,
فَيُحِبَّ بِهذا
that he may love with one heart
ويُبغِضَ بِهذا ،
and hate with another.
فَمَن اُشرِبَ قَلبُهُ حُبَّ غَيرِنا فَأَلَّبَ عَلَينا
He whose heart is filled with love for anyone other than us and so he instigates others against us,
فَليَعلَم أنَّ اللّهَ عَدُوُّهُ وجِبريلَ وميكالَ ،
let him know that God is his enemy, [and so are] Gabriel and Michael.
وَاللّهُ عَدُوٌّ لِلكافِرينَ .
God is the enemy of the disbelievers.”
