وَقَالَ (عليه السلام):
Amir al-mu'minin, peace be upon him, said:
مِنْ كَفَّارَاتِ الذُّنُوبِ الْعِظَامِ
among the means of atonement for great sins are
إِغَاثَةُ الْمَلْهُوفِ،
Rendering relief to the grief-stricken
وَالتَّنْفِيسُ عَنِ الْمكْرُوبِ.
and providing comfort in hardship.
