وَقَالَ (عليه السلام):
Amir al-mu'minin, peace be upon him, said:
لاَ قُرْبَةَ بِالنَّوَافِلِ
Supererogatory worship cannot bring about nearness to Allah
إِذَا أَضَرَّتْ بِالْفَرَائِضِ
if it hampers the obligatory.
