وَقَالَ (عليه السلام):
Amir al-mu'minin, peace be upon him, said:
الصَّبْرُ صَبْرَانِ:
Patience is of two kinds,
صَبْرٌ عَلَى مَا تَكْرَهُ،
patience over what pains you,
وَصَبْرٌ عَمَّا تُحِبُّ.
and patience against what you covet.
