وَقَالَ (عليه السلام):
Amir al-mu'minin, peace be upon him, said:
يَنْزِلُ الصَّبْرُ
Endurance comes
عَلَى قَدْرِ الْمُصِيبَةِ،
according to the affliction.
وَمَنْ ضَرَبَ يَدَهُ عَلَى فَخِذِهِ عِنْدَ مُصِيبَتِهِ
He who beats his hand on the thigh in his affliction
حَبِطَ أجْرُهُ.
ruins all his good actions.
