وَقَالَ (عليه السلام):
Amir al-mu'minin, peace be upon him, said:
لاَ وَالَّذِي أَمْسَيْنَا مِنْهُ فِي غُبْرِ لَيْلَةٍ دَهْمَاءَ
I swear by Him Who let us pass the dark night
تَكْشِرُعَنْ يَوْمٍ أَغَرَّ
after which there was a bright day
مَا كَان كَذَاكَذا.
that such and such (72) did not happen.
72. As-Sayyid ar-Radi has not written what it was that did not happen, leaving us only with the first part of the sentence.
